SSH has been working closely with the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO) and conference hotel staff to ensure we provide an inclusive, accessible, and safe environment for all attendees.
Our goal is to prioritize accessibility so anyone can attend the 2027 International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare. Below is some important information and resources to help assist you in navigating the meeting and the city of New Orleans.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES & ACCOMMODATIONS AVAILABLE AT IMSH
Wheelchair and Scooter Rentals – Scootaround is the official on-site mobility equipment partner of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Reservations can be made in advance so your scooter or wheelchair is ready and waiting when you arrive. Delivery is also available to conference hotels.

- Charging Scooters – Throughout the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, there are numerous electrical outlets for recharging scooters, as well as mobile and other devices.
ADDITIONAL SPACE AND AVAILABLE SERVICES AT CONVENTION CENTER
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is fully ADA-compliant, with service ramps, automatic doors, passenger elevators, accessible restroom facilities, and braille signage located throughout the building. Elevator Location – Elevators are located right outside the Lagniappe food court and outside of Exhibit Hall E.
Restrooms – All public restrooms in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and conference hotels are accessible. Nearest restrooms are outside of Hall E, Hall G, and Hall H behind registration. Family restrooms are available on the first floor outside of Hall H. Gender neutral restrooms are available on the second floor beside room 245.
Lactation Rooms – A lactation room is available outside of Hall H.
First Aid – First Aid is available outside of Hall H.
Safety/Security – Security is available in Show Office 117 in Hall H.
ADA Drop Off – ADA-compliant drop off is located outside of Halls E and J.

DIETARY CONSIDERATIONS
The SSH team is working closely with our catering partners to provide attendees with a variety of food options that will accommodate many dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. We have requested clear labeling on all food items.
Prior to arrival onsite at IMSH, we will provide a listing of offered meals indicating dietary needs on the IMSH website.
